So, in the third season it seems that we will see a lot of unusual alliances. From the various behind the scenes and trailer released, I've noticed the following:

- Victor will partner with Dr Jekyll, that we all know is the human counterpart of the more monstrous mr. Hide. How long will it take Victor to be in danger? Or will their own experiments to create the "monster" mr. Hide? Maybe as a backfired experiment or something like that.

- Vanessa seems incilne to a new friendship with this mysterious curator of the museum, as well as being treated by Dr Seward who has the appearance of her old friend Joan Clayton. How do you think they will explain this similarity? Will she surrend herself to the devil or Ethan would come back to help her? Do you think that this mysterious mr Sweet is actualy good or something far more bitter, like a minion of the devil if not the devil himself?

- The alliance between Dorian and Lily continues and seems to become more and more dangerous and bloody. The duo will become a trio with the arrival of the young Justine. For those of you accustomed to literature, she has the same name of a novel by the Marquis De Sade, a more perverse and shocking author than Oscar Wilde was!.Will it becomes a threesome or Lily will become jealous and cause even more drama than in the second season?

- Ethan is hunted by many hired guns, most of them probably hired by his father, but he's also hunted by the pretty Hecate Poole. Is she going to be an ally or is still on the devil's side like her mother?

I'm loving the season so far and we now know mr. Sweet is in fact Dracula and is connected to the devil. This show is so good and interesting - I hope it lasts a few more seasons!

@70.214: me too. Surely they'll reach a 5th season. There is so much to discover and the show is amazingly written that I doubt Showtime would cancel it.

@71.180:She was discharged from the asylum. Don't you remember the first season?

In the first season, who was the "Master Vampire"? How is he connected to Dracula? Thanks!

At the moment we don't know if he was related to Dracula or who he really was. For all we know, there are countless vampires around the world with Dracula being but one of the most famous in the plot. Maybe he was sent by Dracula to kidnap Vanessa since Mina was supposed to lure Vanessa straight to Dracula but who knows....

I really want to see where they are going to go in regards to who or what Vanessa really is. For those of you who have seen S03E04, how powerful is Vanessa? She had Dracula and Lucifer in the same room with her, and after getting their names she banished them almost instantly. On another note, I really hope Ethan gets back soon. I think my favorite scene of the season will hopefully be when they first see each other again. All in all though, I absolutely love the direction the story is headed, and each season just keeps getting better.
